In the normalized condition, it has a minimum tensile strength of 610 N/mm² and minimum yield strength of 320 N/mm² (for sections under 100mm). It offers higher strength and wear resistance than EN8, making it suitable for gears, shafts, axles, and components requiring greater hardness and load-bearing capacity.
